I am a PhD student at M3CS with Prof. Jakob Hohwy researching computational models of the optimism bias to understand what optimism interventions we could use to treat depression.

Before starting my PhD, I completed a B.A at NYU majoring in Biology and minoring in Philosophy and German. At NYU, I founded the Peer Undergraduate Mentoring Program (PUMP) which aims to support women pursuing STEM majors at NYU. I then worked as a research associate in the Genetic Medicine Lab at Weill Cornell and in the BioMedical Engineering Imaging Institute at Mount Sinai. I received my Masters in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Amsterdam.

I am the co-host of Minds Matter, a conversational podcast about psychology, neuroscience and cognitive science, sponsored by M3CS.
